Every Farm Cut™ recipe combines carefully-selected superfoods to enhance the nutritional benefits and flavors of our meals. Here are some of our favorite superfoods and how they play a vital role in contributing to a well-balanced diet to enhance your health and wellbeing. 


Acai Berries

Low in sugar & packed with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, plant sterols, & amino acids. They may also help to improve cholesterol and boost brain function. We blend acai powder into our Wildberry Overnight Oats and our Tropical Smoothie Bowl.

Packed with good monounsaturated fats, filling fiber, satiating protein, blood pressure-lowering potassium, bone-strengthening calcium, and anti-aging vitamin E.  We substitute ground almonds for wheat flour in many of our baked goods and use them as a crunchy coating on our baked GF Almond Crusted Chicken Fingers.

Rich in beneficial fats that have been known to help reduce belly fat and help keep skin and hair healthy. They are a good source of potassium, folate, fiber, and free radical-fighting antioxidants. We include them in almost all of our salads and bowls. Another one of our favorite ways to enjoy them is on our Avocado Sweet Potatoast.

Dense with powerful antioxidants and nutrients, including potassium, betaine, magnesium, folate, and vitamin C.  Beets may also help reduce blood pressure and improve circulation and cognitive function. We like to use beet purees in our Paleo Beet Ketchup and DF Mini Raspberry "Cheesecakes".


Camu Camu

Has 30-60 times more vitamin C than an orange by weight and is rich in antioxidants, which may help protect cells from the effects of aging. We like to infuse it into our Raspberry Camu Camu Oat Squares and into our refined sugar-free Camu Camu BBQ Beef Ribs.

Chia Seeds

Contain omega-3 fatty acids known for heart health & lowering inflammation, and youth-promoting antioxidants. We love them in our Strawberry Cacao Chia Pudding Parfaits, Wild Berry Overnight Oats, and gluten-free Superseed Crackers.

May help regulate blood sugar, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation.  It is a high source of antioxidants and is also a natural anti-microbial, anti-biotic, anti-fungal and anti-viral agent. We include cinnamon in many of our gluten-free baked goods, spice rubs, and sauces.

Flax Seeds

Rich source of anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids, energy-boosting B-vitamins, filling fiber, and antioxidants.  These gluten-free seeds may help support digestive health, weight loss, & healthy skin. We fold them into our overnight oat varieties and use them as an egg replacement in our vegan baked goods.

A powerful anti-inflammatory that’s been known to help with pain relief, nausea, & indigestion. It may also help fight inflammation and lower blood sugar. We use fresh ginger in our Sesame Ginger Wild Salmon and Coconut Curry Chicken.

Goji Berries

Have an exceptional balance of macronutrients, 20+ vitamins & trace minerals, and are rich in inflammation-fighting antioxidants. They also contain phytonutrients that can protect your eyes against age-related illnesses. Find them in our Energoji Granola or in the refined sugar-free goji tomato sauce on our Cauliflower Pizza.

Hemp Seeds

An easily digestible, plant-based, complete protein boasting all essential amino acids, fiber, and a wide range of minerals. We use them to make the Hemp Seed Pesto for our Mean Green Salmon Bowl and fold them into our Banana Hemp Overnight Oats for extra fiber.



Great source of iron, folate, magnesium, protein, and complex carbohydrates. They provide slow-burning, long-lasting energy, and are packed with digestion-regulating fiber. We use them in salads as a substitute for grains and throw them into our grass-fed beef taco filling for added fiber and lower calories.



An antioxidant-rich fruit that’s high in energy-boosting B vitamins, bone-strengthening calcium, & filling fiber. It’s also said to reduce inflammation, boost the immune system, and lower blood pressure. We fold lucuma powder into our French Toast Overnight Oats and sprinkle on top of our Grilled Pineapple Slices.



Has been used for thousands of years in South America to boost energy, help regulate stress, improve mood, and balance hormones. We like to use it in our gluten-free desserts to help keep you energized and focused throughout the day.



Boosts metabolism, increases energy, and helps detoxify the body. It has been found to help improve the immune system and protect against heart disease. We blend high-quality matcha powder into our Matcha Chocolate Chunk Cookies.



A fantastic source of energizing B vitamins, immune-boosting vitamin C, and antioxidants. It has been found to have anti-inflammatory properties and may also help lower blood sugar and cholesterol. We use moringa in our Moringa Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes and our Moringa Green Goddess Dressing.



A tropical fruit that’s loaded with fiber, immune-boosting vitamin C, and heart-healthy magnesium. It also contains gut-supporting prebiotics, which may help improve the balance of good bacteria in your gut. We dust our Chocolate Covered Strawberries with pitaya powder.

Been found to boost memory, improve mood, reduce inflammation, relieve pain, protect the immune system, stimulate circulation, detoxify the body, protect the body from bacterial infections, and prevent premature aging. We love to use it in our gluten-free Rosemary Almond Crackers and crowd-pleasing Rosemary Garlic Baked Chicken.

Good source of energy-boosting vitamin B-12, anti-inflammatory omega-3s, muscle-building protein, bone-building vitamin D, and heart-healthy niacin, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, and potassium. We have salmon on our menu every week—try it in our fan favorite Mean Green Salmon Bowl with quinoa, spinach, asparagus, zucchini, and hemp seed pesto.

Rich in energy-boosting iron, eyesight-promoting vitamin A, and bone-strengthening calcium & vitamin K.  It is also a good source of potassium, manganese, zinc, magnesium, folate, niacin, vitamin B6, and vitamin C. We throw organic baby spinach into our salads and in our breakfast frittatas. Another one of our favorite ways to enjoy it is in our Steakhouse Cashew-Creamed Spinach.

Protein-rich, blue-green algae that may enhance energy & detoxify the body of heavy metals. We blend organic spirulina powder with guacamole in our Cauliflower Rice Burrito Bowl, and add it to our brown rice in our Salmon Poke Bowl.

Sweet Potatoes

Good source of antioxidants, vitamin A, vitamin C, manganese, copper, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, potassium, dietary fiber, niacin, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, and phosphorus. They may help stabilize blood sugar, boost brain function, enhance immunity, promote eye health, and aid in weight loss. We like to use sweet potato rounds as buns for our Spicy Poblano Turkey Burgers and make sweet potato noodles for our Chicken Thai Zoodles.

Is a powerful anti-inflammatory, which supports muscle recovery, minimizes swelling, & may help fight disease.  It has been found to help prevent age-related chronic diseases, combat arthritis, neutralize free radicals, & support muscle recovery. We use fresh turmeric in many of our sauces, spice rubs, and cauliflower rice. One of our favorite recipes is our Turmeric Hummus Deviled Eggs.

Wild Mushrooms

Good source of free-radical fighting antioxidants, bone-strengthening calcium & vitamin D, and thyroid-balancing selenium.  They contain beta-glucans and conjugated linoleic acid--both may have anti-carcinogenic effects. They are also known to help boost the immune system and aid in weight loss. We like to finely chop mushrooms and use them as a filling in our “meaty” Zucchini Noodle Lasagna.
